North Project
This project is the first step in the vision of the future Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, NEOM, which is a planned cross-border city in the Tabuk Province of northwestern Saudi Arabia. It is planned to incorporate smart city technologies and also function as a tourist destination. It is located near the Red Sea and the borders that Saudi Arabia shares with Egypt and Jordan. It will cover a total area of 26,500 km2 (10,200 sqmi) and will extend 460 km along the coast of the Red Sea.
The North Project is a cluster of Royal Palaces with a classified budget and has been sub-contracted to the below list of main contractors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia:

With SBG
Building Roots was awarded 50% of the King Palace comprising of 15,000 cum of concrete works and has accomplished it between March and May 2018 (within 90 days), with a total contract value of SR 26,000,000.
With Azmeel
Building Roots was awarded the 5B wing of the five stars’ hotel and 4A wing of the four stars hotel comprising of almost 8,000 cum of concrete works which had been accomplished between mid of March and May 2018 (within 75 days), with a total contract value of SR 15,900,000.
With MACC
Building Roots was awarded the Club House, Brother Villa A Extension, MBS main villa extension (Gym Area) plus other utilities scattered all over the site, and the scope of work comprised of almost 11,000 cum of concrete works which had been accomplished between April and mid-June 2018 (within 75 days), with a total
contract value of SR 22,500,000.

Al Yamama Palace
Al Yamama Palace in Riyadh was a rushed project awarded to MACC for renovation purposes, in addition to the execution of new facility buildings, infra-structures, fences, among other elements, set to be executed between October and December 2019.
Building Roots Co. was awarded all the concrete works with a total contract value of SR 15,000,000.
Al Salam Palace
Al Salam Palace in Jeddah was to be delivered in a tight frame of time. The project was awarded to MACC to execute the extension of the Villa-2 (Command Center), in addition to the external works, fence, utility building, SEC room, pump room and guard house.
Building Roots Co. was awarded all the concrete works comprising of 7,500 cum of concrete works which had been accomplished between mid-February and late April 2019 (in 75 days) with a total contract value of SR 12,500,000.
AL Yamama Offices
Al Yamama Offices project in Riyadh is one of the most luxurious offices with a very complicated design. The project was awarded to MBL with an area around of 100,000 sqm and around 150,000 cum of concrete.
The scope for Building Roots was estimated at almost 25% of the concrete works.
